36 weeks!

We are at 36 weeks now, and things are still going great. As of Wednesday the 29th, I am only dialated around 1 to 1.5 centimeters. The doctors are expecting me to carry to 40 weeks, so here's to 4 more weeks!

Carnival 2009

We went to the annual circus and carnival this week. Since Mackenzie wasn't interested in the circus last year, this year we focused only on the animals and rides. She had a blast! She and Jon rode everything at least once, and most of the rides at least 2 or 3 (or 5 more!) times.
Riding the camel is always the first thing she wants to do!

Mackenzie loved feeding the sheep and goats. You can hear her high-pitched squeals when they lick her hand.

She won this trumpet at a game, and kept herself (and everyone else) entertained while Jon rode some rides!

I love this picture!
Crazy dancing!

Having a ball with Dad on the big kid rides!

Jon did the jumping thing (I have no idea what it's called) and Mackenzie got into it (but she wouldn't try it herself)!

One of the last rides of the night
(still going strong!)
In the fun house!
Hilarious!!!!

34 weeks!

At 34 weeks, things are starting to come together! We have finally decided on furniture and bedding! Jon and his uncle Lee painted Mackayla's room last week, and Jon and I just finished putting up the chair rail. Mackenzie loves to go in there and look around--and says she wants her room repainted!!! As soon as the furniture is put together, I'll post some pictures. Right now, I'm trying to take it at easy as possible (with a husband, a three & a half year old, and a job that I love, yeah, right!) and just enjoy my last few weeks feeling Mackayla squirming around.

Easter Sunday 2009

Mackenzie had a wonderful Easter! She received a lots of goodies from Mommy, Daddy, and all her grandparents, including a new computer game, chocolate sheep (which are her absolute favorite!), lots of stickers, a new movie, and more! After church with Grandma Joyce, Papaw Bill, and Nanny Janet, we had a great lunch and headed to the park. After this picture was taken, Mackenzie tripped in her dress, and got her first skinned knee. (Yep, her first!) I love these pictures of my two favorite people!

Easter Egg Hunt 2009

We went to Burnt Hickory's Easter Egg Hunt again this year, and it was just as much fun as last year! We hunted eggs, petted the animals at the petting zoo, did crafts with Daddy, and much more. We also ran into lots of our friends, and got to catch up. It was a bit windy, but we still had a great time!

Growing up!

I've been experimenting with different hairstyles with Mackenzie lately. Here she is with her wavy hair, up in one of my clips. She looks like such a big kid!

Playing around!

This weekend we visited my grandmothers in North Carolina. We didn't get any pictures with Grandma Dorothy, but here are a few of Mackenzie playing at Grandma 'Ceil's house.
