A New Seat...

Mackayla has been doing so well at trying to sit up on her own, we finally got a Bumbo (awesome, by the way!) and put her in it on Wednesday night. She's still a little wobbly, but she improves every time she gets in it!

I have a really cute video of the girls, but it wouldn't download here, so I will try to post it on Facebook!

Stone Mountain

Last weekend we went to Stone Mountain with David, Dawn, Lindsey, and Olivia. As usual, we all had a great time. All 4 girls were entertaining, and the laser show was spectacular. We went on Sept. 12, and there was a great segment dedicated to 9/11.
I absolutely LOVE my Moby wrap. For the last few years, I've seen moms wearing these, and they looked so much more comfortable than the usual baby carriers. They definitely are, for mom AND baby!
Funny how the girls said the music was too loud, and had their hands over their ears, but Mackenzie was able to spare a hand to play with the toys.:-) I LOVE Olivia's face here!

Preview...

As soon as I get pictures from Nanny and Uncle Lee, I will post more about Aunt Beth and Uncle AJ's super-awesome wedding (Mackenzie's wording!). For now, here's a preview...although if you're on Facebook, you've already seen this one!

3 Months...and then some!

Things around our house have been crazy, so I'm a little behind on the monthly status reports on Mackayla. She turned 3 months old on August 23. So,
Mackayla, at 3.75 months old, you are:
  • Waving hi and bye
  • Pulling your sister's hair whenever she gets close (and Mommy's too!)
  • Sitting on your own in your Bumbo seat
  • Getting ready to start eating cereal!
  • Babbling non-stop (especially when Mackenzie is singing in the car)
  • Almost rolling over (don't worry, Mackenzie didn't roll over until after she was crawling!)
  • Only crying when the bottle isn't ready when you are
  • Charming the patients at Mommy's office, and the staff at Daddy's work
  • Sleeping 10-12 hours at night, most nights :-)
