Trick-or-Treat Village 2009

Saturday we went to the Trick-or-Treat Village at a local park, complete with bouncy houses.
Here are the girls before we left the house.
(Mackenzie is a Candy Corn Witch, and Mackayla is a Tootsie Roll--she will be dressed up next weekend!)
Mackenzie wanted a pumpkin painted on her face.:)
Trick-or-Treat!

Posing in the fake cemetery.
Flirting with the little boy behind her--so cute!! :-)
Mackayla doing what she does best--sleeping!!!
Being silly with Dad while waiting in line for the bouncy house.

Claire's Birthday Party

Our friend Claire turned 2 last weekend. We celebrated with a Dora party, complete with an adventure with Map to find the pinata.

Pumpkin Patch Pickin'

Last week, we all went to a local Pumpkin Patch. I loved posing my girls in the pumpkins--they looked so cute!

Two cuties!

Berry Patch Farms 2009

We went to Berry Patch Farms again this year. It was really cold, so we left Mackayla with my parents and just took Mackenzie.
Trying to find the perfect pumpkin.
Mackenzie was excited to pick out 2 small pumpkins for her & Mackayla.

Catching up...

We have been so incredibly busy lately, I've barely been able to keep up with anything! Here is a super long post to catch you up on the Cronon's!

Jon and Mackayla hanging out on the couch (almost 3 months old).
Hanging out in the swing
Sweet Kenzie
This was taken right before Mackayla had cereal from a spoon for the first time (4 months, 6 days old). Since Blogger is not letting me download videos, the video for this will be on Facebook!
After her first meal! (Now that Mackayla's been eating from a spoon for a little over a week, she isn't pushing it back out, and she can finish a bowl in about 3 minutes!)
Jon's Uncle Lee came over to help assess the damage we had from the flood. While he was here, Mackenzie wrangled him into a tea party!
(Please ignore the clothes piled in a chair--I've been changing Mackenzie's closet from summer to winter, and at this point, I hadn't finished yet!)

Snoozin' (She is CONSTANTLY losing one sock!) Mackayla at 4 months. This outfit is the same pattern as her crib sheets, so I couldn't resist! I love the face she's making!
We actually found a restaurant that Mackenzie hadn't been to yet (She can ride down 278 with me, and name almost every restaurant, and tell me what she likes to eat at each one!). We were going to go the fair last Thursday, but I found out that they weren't doing a special on the ticket prices, so we decided to do something else. The problem was, we had told Mackenzie we were going somewhere fun, and she had nagged me all day until Jon got home at 3. We were racking our brains, trying to figure out somewhere different we could go that would be fun for her. We decided on Joe's Crab Shack, since she hadn't eaten there yet, she loves seafood, and their playground is open until the restaurant closes. Score one for Mom and Dad---she had a blast!!! Snoozin' (again)! Mackenzie has started her gymnastics class at a new facility, and we are both loving it!!! There is so much more teaching here, and Mackenzie is actually learning now!

Here is her log roll. It's so cute, all the girls talk to each other, and from the look of things, cheer each other on! (Please excuse the somewhat fuzzy pics--I was shooting through a window!)

I absolutely love these pictures! Mackenzie had to run, jump on the bouncy-thing (what the heck is that, anyway?!) and land on the red circle.

Learning the basics of a cartwheel.

Swinging on the rings.

Learning how to walk on the high beam. We celebrated Aunt Lisa's birthday at La Parilla--and she was taken completely by surprise when the waiter walked up behind her and shoved, yes, shoved the sombrero on her head. Mackayla was surprised, too!
Looks like Mackayla is asking, "Where's MY dessert?!"
Mackenzie is always playing with Mackayla. She found her bunny ears the other day, and asked if she could put them on her sister. Mackayla actually enjoyed it, and kept them on for a while! We went to the park, and enjoyed a great fall day!

Our computer nerd--she LOVES to play her games on CD and the internet! Here she's explaining to Jon how to play the "Funkeys" game (this was not long after we arrived home from the park--she doesn't usually look this disheveled)!
